Unplug and Play Week encourages children and families to unplug from their screens and explore different ways of spending time together. Be sure to stop by the library this week to enjoy some screen-free fun!

The Vernon Friends of the Library will be hosting their annual magazine sale, featuring magazines from 2022. Come on down and check out the amazing deals! All money is donated back to the library for programs.

Snap a photo of your best #BookFace and send it to us for printing and a feature on our social media accounts. Possible books for generating images will be available in branch, or use your own. Winners will receive a prize! 

Bev Danby is a local, self-taught artist who has been painting since the age of 8 yrs old, alongside her mother. She has explored acrylics, oil pastels, and watercolour. Her landscapes are inspired by nature with a focus on colour and form. Pop down to the branch to enjoy a small sampling of her beautiful work!

"Borrow" and "Return" vegetable, fruit, and flower seeds from the library. Patrons can take up to seven packages a year. In return, we ask that you share any extra produce, especially with the Food Bank or Community Fridge. We also appreciate your saving seeds and giving them to the library to continue the cycle. Our Seed Library relies on local seed savers to refill the seeds each year. We graciously accept seeds from local growers.
