Story Time in the Park is a library led, family literacy event that encourages and grows the joy of reading together outside. Join us in a different park almost every Friday in the summer. 

The Digital Support program offers adult patrons one-on-one tutoring by volunteers with The Literacy Society of the North Okanagan. One hour appointments are offered at 10 am and 11 am on Saturdays.

Adventurers League is a drop-in, drop-out DnD format that allows players of all levels to come and play. Materials are not required. All you need is an active imagination and the desire to work with others.

Learn about history in an interactive presentation by the United Empire Loyalists club.

A group experience for parents or caregivers and their babies, up to approximately 18 months old. The program focuses on learning rhymes, songs, and finger plays to share together.

Books that make grown ups say "yuck!" but kids laugh. Children under 8 must have a guardian present.

Come play the game of kings! Everyone is welcome, from beginners to seasoned players.

Snuggle up for Pyjama Story Time.  Featuring felts stories, books, puppets, songs  and rhymes for fun pre-bedtime singing, dancing, learning and silliness.  Don’t forget your Stuffie!

Join our friendly group of book lovers as we explore the wonderful world of books together.  Connect with others, share your thoughts, and expand your reading horizons. Each conversation begins with a question, or a theme and we let the discussion flow naturally from there. We welcome all kinds of reading because reading is reading, no matter how you enjoy! This program is conducted over the phone, and you don't need to have any computer skills.

An adventure through imaginative unplugged gaming. Quest as a team to defeat monsters. 

Indigenous elders and friends meet to play dice, share food and talk. Attendance is by invitation or by speaking directly to one of the elders.
