Deadline: March 31, 2023

1.Keep your story to 1 page. Do not use both sides of the page!
2. Only write your name and age on the back of your story - don't put it anywhere on the front!
3. Drop off your story to the Salmon Arm Library or email it to sareference@orl.bc.ca by March 31.
Story Prompt:
You’re looking for your favourite book on the shelves at the Salmon Arm Library and – bingo! – you find it! You pull it off the shelf and something brown and crinkly falls out of it and floats to the floor. You pick it up and turn it over. It has a compass drawn on it, and sea monsters, and a large red X in one corner. The X is on Piccadilly Mall. It’s a treasure map!
Why would pirates hide treasure in Salmon Arm? Where is the treasure hidden? What is the treasure?
Peachland Library has seeds to "borrow". Take the seeds, grow the plant, harvest your crop, but save some seeds and return them to the Library so they can be "borrowed" again for the next year.
Escape the Sicamous Library! Test your skills to solve the puzzles. Drop in with your friend(s) to "escape" the library and win a prize! This is a free, drop-in program.
