spot in the library to continue the story. How will your adventure end? If
you're lucky, maybe with an epic prize! It will only take 10-15 minutes to find an ending. Repeat the challenge as many times as you'd like until the story ends exactly how you'd like - and to gain more contest entries!

The Computer Literacy Program offers adult patrons one-on-one tutoring by volunteers with The Literacy Society of the North Okanagan. One hour appointments offered Tuesdays at 10 am and 11 am, Thursdays 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm and 2 pm, and Saturdays at 1 pm and 2 pm.

The Literacy Alliance of the Shuswap Society is offering a drop-in technology help desk to assist with basic questions about using digital devices. This includes tablets, cell phones, laptops and e-readers. Examples of topics suitable for the drop-in technology help desk include:
• Connecting to wireless internet
• Downloading APPs
• Making font sizes bigger when viewing websites
Time may be limited to 20 minutes depending on the number of people waiting for help.

You may have heard of the displacement of the Japanese during WWII or even of Ukrainians placed in internment camps during WWI but the labelling, internment and removing of civil liberties of immigrants from countries deemed to be at war with Canada and the Allies was more widespread than internment camps and included more than just the above ethnicities.
Join Xeia Stanford in her experience finding the records and discovering her grandparents' stories, helping her to understand them and this part of our Canadian history.
