Online Special Event | Teens and Adults | Registration Required
This year, for one night only, the Sustainability Film Festival is returning and it's a film you do not want to miss!
Join the Okanagan Regional Library and
Canadian Mental Health Association - Vernon & District Branch for an online screening of Jennifer Abbott's new documentary,
The Magnitude of All Things, a cinematic exploration of the emotional and psychological dimensions of climate change. Abbott merges stories from the frontlines of climate change with recollections of the loss of her sister, and explores how grief can help us better understand ourselves and the climate crisis -- and spur us to take action.
Those who register will receive a link to the film to watch at their own pace within 72 hours prior to this event. All registrants are then welcome to participate in the post-film community discussion, which will be facilitated by Canadian Mental Health Association - Vernon & District Branch. Topics such as eco-anxiety, ecological grief, and mental and physical wellness will be covered.
This event is co-sponsored by the Okanagan Regional Library, Canadian Mental Health Association - Vernon & District Branch, and the National Film Board of Canada.
