Classics Weekly Book Club: Middlemarch

Welcome to Classics Weekly, a virtual book club where we tackle a classic novel together and meet online every Thursday to discuss what we’ve read. Middlemarch is widely considered to be both a literary masterpiece and, according to Virginia Woolf, "one of the few English novels written for grown-up people." We will be meeting online every week from Jan 7 - March 11 to discuss Eliot's novel of provincial life.

Middlemarch is available in a variety of formats from the ORL catalogue: https://www.orl.bc.ca

Online registration is required. We will be meeting virtually via Zoom. You will need a computer, smartphone or tablet and WiFi connection to participate. Please ensure your email address is entered correctly, as we will be sending you the Reading Schedule via email. You will be emailed the link to participate a few days before the event.
