"Borrow" and "Return" vegetable, fruit, and flower seeds from the library. Patrons can take up to seven packages a year. In return, we ask that you share any extra produce, especially with the Food Bank or Community Fridge. We also appreciate your saving seeds and giving them to the library to continue the cycle. Our Seed Library relies on local seed savers to refill the seeds each year. We graciously accept seeds from local growers.
Feeling bored? The library has STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Math) materials available all summer long to explore at your convenience. Code & Go Mice, Ozobots, Cubetto, Little Bits, Cubelets, STEM Fairy Tale Kits, and more will be arriving every two weeks throughout the holiday.
Ask at the desk and take a kit back to a table to explore as a family. Materials are for use in-branch only.
Walk your way through a classic Choose Your Own Adventure novel! Each decision takes you to a different spot in the library to continue the story. How will your adventure end?

enjoy a special Farmer's Market story time. Sponsored by the Downtown Salmon
Arm Association.
Solve puzzles to find the right dig site. Each puzzle you solve gives you more information, which improves your chances of winning the final challenge!
Notes to caregivers:
If you think your child may need support while in the escape room, please plan to provide it.
If you're having more than one child attend, please make sure to register them as a group of the appropriate size to prevent overbooking or being split by the waitlist.
There are different independent puzzles with different difficulties - one easy, one medium, and one hard.
The easy and medium puzzles are aimed at a younger audience (5-8), while the harder puzzle is there to provide a challenge to older kids (9-12), to accommodate mixed groups. Hints will be available on request.
Attendees have 20 minutes to solve all three puzzles, starting at the beginning of your timeslot. If you're late, you'll lose time to solve puzzles.
Solving individual puzzles will give progress towards the final 'dig' puzzle, with a token prize for completion.
