Support your local libraries and discover great books for all ages!
Come to Piccadilly Mall to purchase great books at affordable prices while supporting your Salmon Arm and South Shuswap library branches. Proceeds from book sales help fund:
- Summer Reading Club programs and prizes
- Special events (like The Bug Guys!) and programs (like felting workshops and origami!)
- Furnishings (like the toadstool chairs!)
- Sphero Educational Robot, littleBits Gizmos and Gadgets kit, Magformers, and other equipment for S.T.E.A.M programs
We appreciate book donations from the public of gently used materials. We gratefully accept the following items:
- Novels in good condition (hardcover and softcover)
- CDs and DVDs in good condition
- Nonfiction books, with the exceptions noted below
The following materials are not accepted:
- Yellow, musty, moldy, or damaged items, or books in general poor condition
- Encyclopedia sets
- Medical/health, law/legal, computer or travel guides more than 5 years old
- Any other nonfiction books with outdated information
- Magazines
- Readers Digest Condensed Books
